Hi, I have recently bought LeeHwa Destinee diamond ring. I was only given Destinee diamond qualification report but no AGS report. Do anyone bought recently and know if they do provide both reports? I am currently overseas, thinking to check here before I go back to LeeHwa store.

It should always include a AGS cert as per their website indicate.

Or perhaps you purchased a diamond which the size fall below the min-requirement for AGS cert?

Yes if your stone was less than 0.2ct.
AGS will certify from 0.2ct.
Not providing one from 0.2-0.3ct is basically saving cost

I have purchased 0.4 carat as discounted price. Maybe the cost saving is on AGS certification? I should ask them clearer...

This is totally weird. Not to be offensive, are u sure it's destinee that u purchased? If it is, then the salesperson really messed up big time lol.

edit: i dont remember destinee gives any 'discounted' price other than maybe the usual member/bank 10%.

Hi I need help/some opinions with this

So I've been to a workshop near tiong bahru and jann paul. Basically the workshop one is a lot cheaper compared to jann paul but the quality difference between the two isn't that huge?

Tiong Bahru workshop:
0.8 carat E VS2 $6300-6500
https://photos.app.goo.gl/xWTfXQTJg5zQPjdF6

This is jann paul:
0.72 Carat F VS1 $7000
https://photos.app.goo.gl/e6Y6nt23G8eduG7x9
https://photos.app.goo.gl/q5kDi4BhRWfG8rtu7

I'm quite stuck between the two. On the other hand, theres also a 0.82 carat one from jann paul thats 8.3k which is quite insane but I'm also considering. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated. Is there really a huge difference between the two? or the lighting only

U dun need answers here. I believe u got everything u need from pricescope.

Depends on how much u value super ideal. If u really want to compare the tiong bahru stone, u should use a HOH ideal on pricing

Hi guys,

Is it wise to go for a diamond that is not triple excellent?
The symmetry is only very good but the other characteristics are very much to my liking, especially the price.

Any advice?

I’m not sure what other characteristics u talking abt other than price.
I wouldn’t as I know a triple excellent is not even that great to start with

So by your definition, any stone which exhibit very little variation could be considered a SIC

I read my sentence and realized I shld reword it. I meant SIC is like almost identical in all the scopes. The little variations I mean is the facet reflections or color variations. lol

I'll aim for Symmetry minimum Excellent. Like Miltah said, Excellent itself is not exactly good or safe.

Imagine a pie with 8 slices. The diamond has ''8 sides'' or sections. The angles on the certificate represent the average angle of each of those section.
When the crown angle is 34 degrees, for a good diamond will have all 8 sides at exact 34 degrees. For a bad one, it can have like 32,33,35,35,33, etc. which averages out to be 34. This scenario can exist in an 'Excellent' symmetry. So you can imagine how worse it can be for a ''Very Good'' symmetry.

In the triple Excellent, if you really want to sacrifice one of them, I would choose to sacrifice the polish. That will have the least effect out of the cut and symmetry.

Yup no bracket means SIC.
Prices are based on pple who posted last 12mths thereabts. If no post, then of cos no data.
0.5c - 0.7ct is also the next price bracket, so since u are already paying the next range, makes sense to get more value by buying 0.6 upwards

This is the GIA no. (5323094121) of the stone I was referring to.

Mind help to take a look at it?
