Swee! The scopes looks perfect. Their cut precision is the next level. Was yours a custom order?
That's great to hear thanks! Yes, mine was a custom order. Had an appointment with them on 9 Apr and then on 24 May the diamond was ready. They have begun the crafting and the final ring will be ready before end June! Really happy how fast the entire process is. So excited to collect it!

That's fast! Yours only took 1 month+. Out of curiosity, what design did you make with them?

Hi guys, need your opinions on this diamond. A little hesitant as it is a flat 0.60 carat.

Does this has potential? GIA 2213607444

Hmm.. proportions is ok. Not to Super Ideal standards but neither it is on the very bad side. The table is 59% which is on the larger than ideal size. A larger table can give the diamond a larger / flatter look, but its at the point of sacrificing the fire / scintillation (sparkle) for it.

This is just based preliminary on the proportions on the cert. It would be more accurate if you have the ASET scope to analyze the light performance. A diamond can have perfect proportions but poor light performance. So the scopes would be more useful to analyzing this.

Thanks will check that out. Look into this because of the attractive mid 4k price quoted. Will check more details.thanks!

Wah.. the decagons are getting very popular. So many ppl buying them now and I can understand why. lol. The AGS cert itself is already the best available cert (better than GIA IMO), and much stricter than those shady IGI, EGL, etc. ones. Plus the decagon are JP's white series (I believe the decagon is the highest light performing one out of all the shapes). You're in safe hands with JP.. The diamond is as perfect as it can be.

Scopes looks perfect to me. The ASET shows strong light return. What's the color and clarity grade?

Hello! Can help to comment on the following diamond please?

GIA 6375176651

Thank you in advance!

I'm assuming you didn't see this diamond under the ASET scope? Because based on the proportions I see on the GIA, the diamond won't be a good light performer. It's on the steep deep or top heavy side, which would usually show the ROD (ring of death) or light leakages at the table. The crown angle is way too steep at 36 and the depth is over 62%. So the diamond will also look smaller for its carat weight. Though a 0.67ct is a nice size just under the 0.70ct mark, it won't truly look like a 0.67ct size.

Also the star facet is 45%. Ideally it should be at least 50%. This in a way controls the size of your sparkles. So smaller star facets = smaller fire. I suggest trying to see the diamond under the ASET and it should reveal all the visual issues with it.
