Just booked Hatten Hotel for a short family trip at the end of the month!

Anyone whom has been there has any recommendations to eat?

Last time my wife and I would go to Tong Sheng for the cheese bee hoon, Sun May Hiong for the pork satay, the Indian restaurant selling Naan (forgot the name) that was near Sun May Hiong as well, and the Hoe Kee Chicken Rice Ball.

Are these still available there now? If not, gotta Google new eating spots. :ROFLMAO:
The bee hoon, satay, and tandoori chicken places should still be around since they're so popular. At most they'd have moved to another location where there's more human traffic. As it is, the satay and tandoori chicken places are already in a residential neighborhood.

I normally Google from my laptop browser and if the joint is still operating, can see the opening hours on the right of the Google results page. Otherwise will show "temporary closed" or something to that effect...

Thanks for the advice!

Just checked Hoe Kee on Google and Google Map, and it is shown Temporarily Closed.

Think it's gone for good now. :cry:

Alot of shops have closed down in melaka due to pandemic.. even the linkbridge from hatten to the shopping centre, is a dead town now.. only the cinema is alive in that building

Bro, even in SG, sometimes this opening hour is error.

@Eviltrap
Direct infront Hatten hotel, there is one chinese ze char, there food is nice. I even order chili crab and visit twice.
Around that area or cross the road, there are many good foods including bat kut teh. Don't know they still open or not. Good to walk around.

Jonker shops daily but pasar malam only Friday to Sunday
Then he miss the fun :p
I always check before I book my flight. If not really wasted.
Example I going Chiang Mai in Jan, the famous Sat and Sun walking street, if fly back on Sun, I will miss it so I book flight to return on Monday. ;)

Sounds ok. Jonker Walk, Geographer's Cafe, Christ Church and River Cruise can do all on the same day.

My wife and I wanted to go to Huskitory too, but an afternoon of shopping took away all the time, so we gave it a miss eventually.

My family and I (total 4 adults and 2 kids) booked grab to go Jonker.

Hatten not ok, kind of loc already and service all damn slow, because the place too big liao, go in and out also damn slow.

From front desk when check in slow, ask for things like extra towels also slow, minimum half day!

Anything spoil ask for technician also minimum half day! (Note that means since you check in around noon, by evening they pang kang, so is next day around noon then you see their face.

Wait for lift slow, because the place too huge.

Food so so, nothing spectacular.

Only good thing is its next to makota and palawan.

You ask "What to bring for the medicine?" :LOL:
Of cos cannot. Go traditional medical hall buy those medication for travel sickness/ motion sickness pill will do.
For me, when I travel I standby charcoal pills & panadol... And I make it a point to bring limes and make lime juice to drink.. not those syrup type but actual lime squeezed and put in ice kosong.. for me it helps me with headaches and keeps me hydrated.

Pre-covid Feb 2020, I stay at Estadia Hotel manage by Hatten.
My review then;
Location is super good, infront is lot of massage shops and foodie. Good place for breakfast before heading out. Behind there are 2 shopping malls. Internet connect is very good. Room is very big but too bad don't have Q or K bed, only have 2 single beds so have to push them together. Beds and pillows are comfortable.
Check in is ok but room available at 3pm. Leave luggage at hotel storage room. Return to the hotel at 2.30pm, check with reception is my room is ready. It's ready, I'm lucky to have my room at 2.30pm. I saw there are still many people waiting at the lobby.
Walk to Jonker need about 20mins. And most of the attractions are near Jonker. Can easily get Grab to these attractions.
