hi guys, usually which bus company in SG do u buy the tickets from?

Get 707.. non stop but have 10 min toilet breaks along the highway.

From melaka sentral go to taxi counter its rm15 to jonker.
this one standard pricing they even have price board for u to refer on the ceiling.

yup, 707 express is a non stop service, conveniently located at Bugis.. there are also several bus service that offer non stop as well, such as Delima Express, S&S Express. Many travellers actually prefer non stop service so that they can reach Melaka earlier.

24-26th Dec are peak periods in Melaka. Better get bus tickets and accommodation early. Been there once during such periods and it was orgy!

been in Malacca once on christmas day and was really a nightmare! everywhere so crowded, can see the swimming pool but can't jump in, traffic conditions was horrendous as it is one way road in Malacca town, so no u-turn and whole day stuck in jam.

for peak period or sunday, you are advised to get your return ticket early.. if normal days, dont worry, there are plenty of tickets available
Latest bus back to Singapore is 7pm..

Came back from Malacca not long ago and bought the Jonker Street Coffee (JSC) white coffee shake. Now everyone in the office is saying this coffee is nice but don't know where to buy in Singapore. Anyone knows? Thanks.

i find nancy over rated, only slightly better compared to ivins, and expensive some more. but then again, i haven found a really good nonya restaurant. nothing beats home cooked. (i think i vaugely remember pow sing at serangoon gardens serve nonya dishes which are pretty good)

chicken rice ball must eat chung hwa (check spelling). the fancy looking stores not nice.

for chendol, the good one is called 88. they serve pretty decent laksa also

satay celup wise, the good one is capitol (also walking distance from jongker) but quite ridiculous, 12am still got q.

unfortunately, all 3 mentioned above got q

fancy looking one are all using machines to make rice balls. chung hwa is using hands. the winner is obvious.

capitol is too over-rated. no big deal with more peanuts.

chendol 88 is good. always a must.

the shiok part about chung hwa is the stock they drizzle over the chicken. full of flavor

yeah. but I refrain myself from chung hwa because there are so many good food around further from the city. also the queue is not good for old men under hot sun.

Cendol is at jonker 88 is good..thick gula melaka. Love the nyonya laksa there :) Yummy

For chicken rice, none of the 3 famous stalls are good. Most singapore stalls can beat that standard. But if rly want to experience the rice balls, then go chung wah.

For satay celup, pretty avg la..

Dessert 88 is indeed nice as benjamin mentioned.

Rice ball, I prefer Aformosa.

Satay Celup, I will go for Capitol.
