I think the best thing is you to call starmart to confirm whether your booking is in their system or not

Any decent hotel (central location to everything) to recommend for under S$100 a night? Thanks

You can easily get many good hotels with facilities with this price due to the stiff competition. Now there are so many new hotels opening.

Few years ago, I have to pay S$150 per nite at Equatorial. Now less than S$100 can get liao. I even saw S$68 per nite for Hatten in Agoda during the March School holidays.

AFAIK, there's no airport in Melaka.

Friend took a coach from Melaka to KL, then flew from KLIA to Penang.

There is indeed an airport in Malacca, at Batu Berendam. More of an aerodrome rather, like our Seletar. It used to serve routes by Fireflyz and AirAsia. It probably has Malindo now.

The airport in Malacca is too small, they are going to extend the run way. WHat I know there is flight from Malacca to Penang, also from Malacca to Indonesia (not sure which part)

Gentle reminder. Melaka is suppose to be no plastic bags effective Jan 2016.
If u go shopping, best bring some bags along.

Just came back. Was caught by surprise when we shopped at Mahkota Popular and Giant.
End up buying a reusable bag from Giant, but used it to pack the stuff we bought, so still ok.

Saw a "circus show" at Giant when a group of 10plus tourist making a ruckus due to the no plastics rule. They were buying trolleys full of stuff.. shouting at the cashier etc....

They can't afford re-usable bags? How embarrassing.

Thanks for the reminder, Phantom37! :)

I really applause Melaka for being able to implement the no-plastic bags rule, and standing firm by selling only recycle bags. :s12:

Let's just say some folks from some countries Really believe the following
1) 大声就赢了,
2)有钱就行了,
3)客人永远是对的! =)
