Cheapest SIM card at Malacca? Where to get? 7-11? Cheapest...for data like grab and uber

what i heard from melaka relatives is because malaysia kastam has been going after small businesses for unaccounted profits/tax after the implementation of gst.

in the past, these popular f&b businesses are more likely to understate their revenue. now that the country has implemented gst, the revenue has to be properly accounted for and it has increased more than doubled or tripled when owner operates minimally 6 days/week. hence, most of these popular eateries owners decided to work less so that the revenue doesn't fluctuate too much.

anyone stayed at equatorial recently? Is their free movie channel still available?

Checked their 11/11 promo pricing with those booking websites, the pricing like not much difference leh

Thinking of going Malacca in early December

Will there be heavy rain and flooding around that time ?

Or flooding along the way there in Johor ?

Probably you are right. This gives the govt the opportunity to start digging into the small business previous account.

Stayed there for 3 consecutive years, loved the atmosphere and location despite the (much) higher price.

But last visit was Q1 last year so can't comment on how things are these days.

Is it good ?

Price quoted from the hotel differ quite a lot between with and without breakfast
