I've numerous times explored until I'd to extend my stay.
Likewise. I used to visit Malacca twice annually. I intend to visit at least once annually now.
I re-visit the same sights from time to time in addition to new developments.
Looks like I have missed the show at Encore Melaka.

It's a good show, showing the history of Melaka. The building also very beautiful

I'm going again next weekend!

This time ordered by my wife MUST go to Huskitory. :ROFLMAO:

Other than that, most likely do the same things like eat at the malls.

One thing though, is the AEON Mall Bandaraya Mekala good to go jalan jalan?

Pre-Covid it reminded me of AEON Bukit Indah and the older (smaller) AEON Tebrau. Similar shops and Parkson.

Edit: Only difference being hardly any (other) tourists due to it being out of the tourist zones.

Just dun wanna go to a mall that is like Hatten Square, Element X or the Shore, from what I read.

If it still has the shops opened, then I can go there. Coz my kids will be coming along, so will need air conditioned places. :o

I should think the shops will still be open. Similar ones survived C19 in JB, I don't see why they wouldn't have survived there as well.

Big and nice without being too crowded. The (ex-Tesco) Lotus's next to it should still be there, I guess.

For me, will Grab to Jonker at the further end. Then walk back to hotel (usually Hatten).

This time round will Grab to Huskitory, then to AEON, before finally back to hotel.

Now getting old (plus weather so hot recently), will be better to Grab anywhere else. The fares are not expensive. Only worried about the heavy traffic.

I like going to Melaka coz it's very walkable. One can go as far as the legs can carry and weather permits, otherwise just Grab.

The Hatten Group used to have a shuttle bus preC19 which I hopped on from Element Mall, not sure if it's still operating.

I didn't noticed any shuttle buses there during my last trip back in October last year.

Perhaps due to the heavy traffic around the Jonker area, they scrapped the whole thing as it was very hard to manage expectations? :ROFLMAO:

Grab or walk.
Coach to Melaka got certain timing, I take early morning coach no jam. Only reach Melaka jam due to small road.

Malacca is fairly compact with most sights accessible from the river on foot and the river itself has walking paths along both banks. Malacca to JB takes about 5 hours by coach. I try to be in JB by early afternoon on a weekend.
