Few attractions you been there once is enough.
Repeat visit left with eating, massages & shopping.
Mainly for relax and eat.
That's true.

Basically only go there to eat and relax.

My wife always asks me why I always wanna go back.

Hard to explain, really. Need to clear some carbon, wanna eat and relax, and dun wanna stress go where and do what. :o

I feel more relaxed in Melaka then JB and especially KL. Was 12 when I went to Penang so can't comment.

Melaka's my fav 👍

Anyway, I already took the plunge, and booked Christee Suites.

Will give my FR when I'm there. Got lots of good reviews there, so I'm looking forward to this trip. Not gonna be staying at Hatten for a change, and will be there from Sunday to Wednesday. Gonna be interesting to see what we can go with hopefully not much crowd.

For the price, I think the hotel is quite good already. Read reviews will pass by cemetery if walk to Jonker, so better drive or call Grab.

I "walked" along Google Map, definitely need an antiUV umbrella 😅

It's just a small corner "The Dutch Graveyard", white white not scary one. Anyway, will turn off to the right at that point already.

I haven't looked at the rates/rooms, just looking at the surrounding area...

If Grab driver takes the same route, will still pass it but maybe not notice. It's really just a few white graves at the corner of the property, I might not have noticed if you didn't mention earlier.

Did you know there's a undertaker unit along Jonker preC19? While exploring shophouses, there'd be one here and there, also in JB. :look:

Just had another look at the location of Christee Suites.

Pretty sure can go the other way leading to Dataran Pahlawan, and avoid the other route. Going through shopping mall can cool down as well.

What is undertaker unit? Coffin seller?
I only explore inside the Jonker not outside near to the river, didn't see it. CNY noon time, alot of people walking and shopping at Jonker, after lunch, I walk to the bridge and call Grab. Very sian.

I'm hoping there is a back door/gate to cut through to Hotel Equitorial, but I'm too optimistic, I suppose.

The road back to Hotel Equitorial can be a bit dangerous as it is single lane, and I'll bringing 2 primary school girls as well. Probably only good thing will be that we will be there on Sunday, so maybe there will be slightly lesser cars than normal weekends.

But I think Christee has only open space car park. My car is 99% parked under shelter, so it's gonna be bad for the interior. :frown:

I see Double Tree is like to far off in the distance, and my wife's colleague recommended it, so we tried it. And the place still seems quite new. Google map still showed the place being boarded up. :ROFLMAO:
