It is 13 degree C now... on our way to Ueno Station onboard the JR Yamanote Line, going to Ameyoko this morning and will head to Akihabara for lunch. Akihabara Chuo Dori is closed to traffic today from 1pm - 5pm.

Our mistake... akihabara chuo dori was not closed to traffic today. Didnt stay long at akihabara, walk to Iwomotocho Station to catch the Shinjuku Line to Sasazuka Station to visit Blue Lug... tonight temperature dropped to 5 degree C with strong wind, pretty darn cold, walk in the cold wind my face all numb and my joints all stiff.

No point wear too many layer causing overheated... a good warn scarf is VERY important.

The North Face apparels in Japan is made for Japanese size, the XXL i wear look like 4XL when compare to their XXL.

For Tokyo, its a pretty warm week compared to the week before. and it was colder last year around this time too. didn't bother with any winter-proofing for the house this time round.

alberchng is right about the wind. pretty strong winds today and half the bicycles on my street were in a toppled state when I went grocery shopping earlier this evening.

At 8:45pm... the temperature dropped further down to 4 degree C with wind speed of close to 40km/h, it was very very cold. My wife comments that the wind felt like pushing her when blow from back and felt like trying to stop her for moving forward when blow from front.

This kind of temperature and wind speed... if need to be outside for prolong period will need 2 layers of heattech.

Tomorrow i am going to Harajuku, Meijijingumae and Omotesando... will require to expose to the cold harsh weather condition for prolong period, i will wear a mid layer instead of base layer together with my pant.

At Harajuku now... Laforet whole building is having grand sale... that is 7 levels.

Current temperature is 5 degree C but very low wind speed so it is not cold, just chill.

Wind got stronger when sun went down, after dinner the chill was too much to bear so wrap a scarf around my neck to keep it warm (am prone to cough when neck cold).

松屋 is one of the most "budget" eatery at there.. Used to have my lunch at there couple of time(s).

Matsuya is awesome! There is one near where I stayed and I settle a couple of my meals there. Cheap and good.

It is warm today... currently at 14 degree C. Onboard Oedo subway line going to Odaiba.

Tokyo indeed has a lot of pretty girls... friendly and polite too.
