Okay, here goes:

TT01 chassis kit with electronic speed controller (ESC): $188
3300mAh 7.2V battery pack: minimum $38
Basic (5-7hour charge time) charger: $15
Radio controller (with transmitter, receiver and 2 servos): minimum $115-$125 onwards (should be the Futaba 2PHKA [Futaba Magnum Jr.]
Eight pieces of AA batteries for transmitter: $10?
A set of PVC tyres + wheels around $8-10

More racy kit:
more than 4000mAh battery pack: minimum $85
ESC with no motor limit: minimum $150
Auto peak detect + discharger: minimum $150
Modified motor (handwound coil and balanced): $135

Note that the higher battery current rating you go, that means you can run your car longer but your ESC and motor will have to run hotter and longer, get a heatsink for your motor at least. Most ESCs nowadays have a safety cutoff to shutdown before they overheat so as to prevent damage.

anyway if ur into drifin, should be tuning it for handling n mayb cooling so u can drift longer, so is also getting a better battery pack to last u long... the rest of the setups its all up to ur budget

Actually, the ESC can mod one..... Those MOSFETs can be replaced with higher capacity ones....

sometimes to set it to drift also depends on your transmitter setting. for example a futaba 3pk transmitter which cost ard $500. jus set the necessary adjustment on the transmitter and your car is set to drift liao

affordable or something can do, should be ok - the rest needed is time,interest n ur skills to do it~

for the transmitter theoDR introed, Futaba 2PHKA [Futaba Magnum Jr.]. can store how many memory?? how much?

also i like the futaba 3PK series lolz.. any idea wat is the 3rd channel used for? n how much does that baby cost? haha

That one is analog servo dial settings, can only store one car at any time. The 2PL is digital and can store up to 10 car settings.
