Actually, I prefer stock controller though. Stock controller is to train up your skills and car setup.

.... Cannot be using stock all the time rite? Hahaha....

Almost all 1/10th scale touring cars are 4WD or FWD, I've never come across a RWD one yet.. You can do drifting with 4WD too. :D

Found a RWD chassis, but I don't think it'll like being banged around.. Tamiya's F103GT direct drive. The motor is geared directly to the rear wheels. Looks damn like and rocket fast. Probably no one with a 4WD chassis can catch you on the straights if both cars have the same electronics

An example:

I have one of these also, and although I don't race mine, I get comments all the time. Mainly because it's so fast. I have the specs about it below:

Tamiya F103GT
ESC: LRP AI Bullet- No Motor Limit
Motor: Team Orion SV2 Pro Bearing 10T X 1W
HPI Foam Tires
Pontiac G6 body
Top speed: 45-50 mph
Gearing: For the 10T- 5:1. For the 6T- 4.375:1

I'm still trying to find the fastest I can make this car, and I'm getting close. I just bought the new Team Orion Revolution 6T, and man, I'm guessing close to 70-80 mph.
Quoted one of the forumer's F103GT specs...looks fast!!! 50mph = 80kph

One of the guys installed a Futaba gyro (to control the steering servo) to negate oversteer especially when using more powerful motors since the car is RWD. Wonder if put on my TA05 how will it handle...
