no joke for mini-z can
basically we just put a MOSFET that can take a higher current draw from the motor without burning the chip and the PCB board which means a motor with a higher torque or speed can be use !

Woooh mamba Max!!! I was contemplating to get this too...
ESC is sensorless though thus not allowed in cmpetition. I find this ruling really archicac and should be dumped in museum. nice one.. when and where can i see it run??
