With the hood + tripod attachment + cam is almost 2kg.
But I've get used to it & can shoot for few hrs handheld.

Don't bother about this location. It's a bad one.
It's at Merlion Park facing directly the MBS. Even though I've got to sequeeze in to get a small area to setup my tripod. The photographer next to me on the right is kind enuff to let me some space. Kudoz to the CS Canon user. He's using Tokina 11mm UWA (manual focus).

Unless you can't find other locations (fully occupied with photographers) & you have an ultra-wide angle lens like 10-20mm..

Nvm, this is my 1st firework shoot to test out cam's settings. All these pics failed to comply to rule of 3rd.
(Never shoot fireworks b4 )
Will try next week for a better & wider shoot.
