dear all,

just saw this on the suica and N'ex website.

“Suica & N'EX” will end with the tickets on sale on Monday, March 31, 2014. Sales will no longer be available after Tuesday, April 1, 2014.

it said that the sales will not go on after 1st April 2014. Does this mean that there won't be such a combination after April 1st??

next best thing is to get the tokyo direct ticket:
N'EX TOKYO Direct Ticket(One-way) | Fares & Passes | JR-EAST

same discount as the suica-nex package, just that there is no 2-way version for the return trip to airport

Can the one-way NEX ticket be used from Tokyo to Narita instead? Otherwise I'll just pay 5.5k yen for the round trip suica & NEX package. Thought I could save 500 yen by buying the one way suica and NEX and the direct ticket.

cannot. its ONLY from narita to tokyo. =( best thing is one way from narita to tokyo. then from tokyo to narita must find other options.

i chose The Access Narita. =)

Yes. Not much time in any one spot one. Just have to keep moving. Lots of trains taking and transfers and lots and lots of walking. wear a comfortable walking shoes. But you can adjust your tempo as you see fit. Some places may bore you (better dont go there in the first place). Some may interest you so much that you are willinh to sacrifice yiur next stop for it. That sort of things.
