Hi gurus, i am here after waiting for the release of 5000 series gpu, been living without one for more than 5 years and I've decided to get a pre-built because it cost a few hundreds more if I were to buy the same components online and DIY, I would like to ask is the mobo listed here good enough or should I upgrade to msi x870e carbon wifi (+$249) or Asus strix x870e-e (+$390)
Used to have MSI tomahawk x870e under the mobo upgrade list but sadly it's not available on the website anymore.

Will be used mainly for gaming e.g
COD BO6, Monster hunter Wilds, Wukong, GTA-V

Monitor I am still deciding on Asus PG27UCDM, MSI 332URX, Alienware AW2725Q or AW3225QF,

Speakers - Logitech G560

Mouse & keyboard - Logitech mk295 (a little quieter to prevent getting reprimanded from my spouse during midnight)

Supreme S07-
-AMD 9800X3D
-ASUS TUF GAMING X870-PLUS WIFI AM5 ATX
-ASUS PRIME LC 360 ARGB 360MM AIO
-T-FORCEFORCE DELTA RGB 6000MHz 32GB(16GBx2) CL30
-ASUS ROG ASTRAL GeForce RTX™ 5080 16GB GDDR7
-ADATA XPG GAMMIX S70 BLADE 2TB 7400MB/s GEN4 NVMe M.2 SSD
-ASUS ROG STRIX 1000-1000W 80+ GOLD FULL MODULAR
-LIAN LI LANCOOL 217 BLACK TYPE-C
-4 X 120MM ARGB FANS
-MX - 4 THERMAL PASTE
    HIGH-SPEED AX WIRELESS AND BT | WIFI 7* + BT 5.4*
    WINDOWS 11 HOME UN-ACTIVATED

$4439

Thank you for reading and have a great day!

Imo bad value, 4k and not even a 5090. Don't stick to ASUS just because it's ASUS, get the best value that you can get.

Overpriced motherboard, AIO, GPU , PSU. Hope the CPU is a 9800x3d.

https://aftershockpc.com/products/sup-x3d-1-gx probably better value than that for 3.3k, although I don't really like the motherboard offered. Need to contact their support to upgrade it probably.

Thank you for your advice! Yes the cpu is 9800x3d just realized I didn't state it and have since edited. True I'm overpaying for the asus premium as what the internet has been stating.
Among the monitors that I have listed, which one would you choose?

Setup is ex because of this: ASUS ROG ASTRAL GeForce RTX™ 5080 16GB GDDR7.
Hi ragnarok95, apart from the GPU, what do you reckon about the rest of the parts listed, is it decent in terms of performance to price ratio?

For the love of god, stay far far away from this SSD.

SSDs using Innogrit IG 5236 controllers is basically a death wish. Granted, I have not heard much about them dying after the new batches with new firmware upgrade this past year. But there is a long long list of problems and it's best to stay far away from it.

Cough up the 11 bucks for Crucial T500 pro.

Also got PG32UCDMR coming out to replace PG32UCDM.

With your budget, can top up abit and buy 5090 non Asus gpu.

I think for now, stick to monitors that dont use DSC. DSC monitors might be the cause of the black screens that ppl are seeing with the newer nvidia drivers(anything after 566.36).
I personally use the 5070ti with the AW2725DF and am pretty happy, but i think you should get a 4k monitor + 240hz oled that uses a native dp 2.1 connection, which is the PG27UCDM. All the other monitors that you mentioned uses DSC. Nothing wrong with DSC before 566.36 and in general, but just to be safe and not get any headaches from the drivers.

-Samsung 990 Pro 2tb +$75

-Crucial pro ddr5 black 6000mt/s 32gb cl36
(should I top up get cl30?)

Honestly the Asus B850m board is enough, no need X870E and save $520. Already has 3x M2 NVME ssd slots, VRM 14+2+1 (best for mATX B850M board).
Ya thermalright 360 is ok because 9800X3D is significantly easier to cool vs 7800X3D.
Yes can top up get CL30 but shouldn’t have much performance difference.
Suggest you check out SUPREME S10 from InvaderPC also, Asus TUF X870 wifi plus which is quite ok, better than B850M asus tuf.

Best monitor you can buy right now is PG27UCDM With DP2.1. You might wanna wait for 32PGUCDM with DP 2.1 support. However, if you are ok with DSC DP1.4 or using HDMI 2.1, still ok with AW3225QF monitor, I have AW3225QF and AW2725Q too.

For monitor I have not decided if I should get 27 or 32 because if use 27 to play FPS game would be better no eye strain but for 32 play wukong will be more shiok haha.

But if b850m inside lian li 217 will the mobo look small and not fitting?

If aesthetic is a thing get full ATX board B850 variant, or top up abit get Gigabyte Aorus Elite 870 board for extra $26, get this is better because of 4x M2 slots.

For Asus B850-F gaming top up $7 only from Supreme S10. However, I think this Asus board might run faster.

From my B850M Gigabyte Aorus elite Ice with 5080 setups, the startup speed is 2x slower than my B850M Asus tuf gaming wifi with 5070 TI setups. However, Gigabyte is much quieter. If i get 5090 setup I will likely opt for 870 Gigabyte Aorus elite board for stability, even though might be abit slower for startup
