Yup no problem for the surface to handle...

got a qns:
i notice that the Chameleon Diamondback w/LAN pack is actually retailing cheaper
than the Salamander Red/Plasma Blue/Acid Green versions that come w/o the pack.

don't they all have the same specifications, just the color differences?

U can always use a damp cloth to wipe the mouse clean after use. Personally, I have some wet tissues for the job.

Chameleon Green is using Optical Len, while Plasma LE & Acid green are using Intra Lens...

oic, 'cos i got the Plasma color Diamondback (normal box) then saw
the LAN pack included Chameleon Diamondback with exactly the same
advertised specs (1600dpi, 5.8Mpixels/s, 6400 frames, 16bit datapath).
so i thought they were the same mice.

True... the specifications are the same... on the lens difference...

quite confusing as the Plasma LE is using a different sensor than the Chameleon,
but they both using the same kind of retail box.

When you see bright red light from the len, it tells you this is an Optical Len. When no light from len, this tells you this is an Infra len.

Plasma LE Blue are using Infra Len...

Not too sure about the "scissors" thingy... but the feel for Tarantula is not laptop..
