Hi Dennis,
Firstly, i'm glad to find a thread dedicated for Razer products with an active authorized dealer
(i'm not exactly an IT savy dude)
See, i've got a problem with my 4 1/2 months old Copperhead. Basically the laser sensor at the bottom of the mouse just kinda died off yesterday night. I was in a game and it just stopped responding. The weird thing is, the mouse buttons are still responsive, my menus appear when i start clicking and right clicking, the customized keys at the sides at working too, but my mouse won't move!
I've tried to remedy the situation by reinstalling the drivers, plugging the mouse in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out/in/out
and plugging the mouse into another computer but still, it won't work.
-The mouse has NEVER been dropped before (i'm serious i handle my mouse like how extremely devoted boyfriends handle their girlfriends, not in the sense that my mouse arouses me that is)
-No water has ever made contact.
-No extremely violent abuse has been inflicted on the mouse (okie maybe a MILD bang once or twice when some noob gets my head)
Bottom line - my mouse's still in a good shape but it just kinda died so i guess i've got to RMA.
My main concern - My receipt does not LOOK legit. Although that's what the shop gave me (it's located at suntec city, can't rmb the shop name). The shop did a bad job issuing it's receipt - there's no company chop, no proper signature of the guy who did the dealing, just the date and the price of the mouse.
So i'm wondering, if i am to make my way down all the way to ubi ave (i stay in the west), will i still be able to rma my mouse due to my receipt? i can send you a screen shot of the receipt that was issued to me. In the case that my receipt is rejected, what else can i do? The mouse is only 4 1/2 months old and it will be a waste if i am not allowed to exchange it for a new one.
Will like to hear from you, thank you dennis
