I re-contract from 8Mbps to 10Mbps on Feb 8 and I was told likely activation the next day. Well, until today the 10Mbps is still not activate. Now they told me I should be getting the 10Mbps on Saturday, Feb 12 after 5pm.
Anyway, still a good deal for the 10Mbps.:s12:

Which 2Wire modem are you guys getting? Few days ago, I was told they will deliver the 2Wire 2701HGV-E on Feb 15 and today I was told again I could get the 2Wire 5012NV. Well, when I receive it. I will know.

Nice to know you have the 2Wire 5012NV. If you are using this, how is the newer 2Wire performance compared with 2Wire 2701HGV-E? Do you get improvement for more reliable constant download and upload speed with the newer modem?

My connection is always wired instead of wireless. I am considering whether to continue using the 2Wire 2701HGV-E or start to use the 2Wire 5012NV once I receive it for the SN BB ADSL 10Mbps.

$23 plan sounds too good to true. I will call and 'threaten' to terminate like the usual cancel credit card tactic :s13:

I asked for the phone rebate but the CSO say he will email so and so. Doesn't matter. It's still a huge saving. Glad I found this thread :D

He said will call me back about the rebate also.

Dunno true or not. :D

hi, how did you all re-contract to get the 10mbps $23/month 1-year contract? really must threaten to terminate even if you do not wish to terminate?

anyway, after how many months then can re-contract? 21 months?

You dont really have to threaten to terminate just say You want the $23 10mbps plan can already, most of the cso should have known about this, if the cso does'nt know, just request to be transferred to the retention department, and yes after 21 month you can recontract already:)
