Hi all,

Just to let you know that the $23.45 plan is still available for renewal. I just renew (2 mths left before expiry of 1 yr).

No phone rebate, no new modem.
Seems like some get it, some don't.

I am not on the $23.45 plan. I am bonded with the laptop plan and my contract ending soon... so trying to see if I can get cheaper plan but continue my 10MBps speed. not going for fibre because of personal reasons...hdb does not belong to me etc.

Just checked out the prices at Singtel website. I think Singtel has lower the Singnet Broadband prices. But still, I don't think it is very attractive, at least not for the recontract.

New sign up for 10MBps @ $31.90/mth with free wireless modem and mobile broadband 7.2MBps.

Recontract for 10MBps $31.90/mth without modem, but with free mobile broadband only...... that is why I said it is not attractive at all.... might as well terminate the plan after contracts end, then sign up again.. at least get another free modem...

I just renew the $23.45 plan after my original 1yr contract of it expire 3 mths back. lol.

Just call 1688 -> operator -> ask to transfer to retention department, then tell them that you want the plan.

No free modem this time, just extend warranty niah. I dun want new modem also.

Just did what one of the members recommended...
I wrote a feedback to SingTel using the web...don't forget to use the "Complaint" section. I'm not a LAN gamer nor a blogger that need high Internet and upload speed. My last mile is a SingTel station and I'm happy with the fast and reliable 10Mbps access and plan to continue.
Apparantly, the service level has improved after all this years. I got a caller ID "1688" on my mobile and a lady identified from the "retention dept" took my feedback seriously. I was currently paying $35.90 + $9(fixed home line) = $45.90 per mth subscription and exipring near Feb 2013. Not going to renew if there is not value. Next thing, she offered me $23.90 /mth for 12 months and $15 rebate for home phone line.
However she took away my 1.5Mbps BBOM which I didn't reject because I hardly use it. A new modem isn't provided to me which I asked for...anyway I'm using ASUS ADSL+ and it's working flawlessly well in terms of wierless speed and reliablitiy. I must say ASUS router is solid!
I'm happy with the arrangment she made even without the BBOM and modem...now awaiting for another personnel to confirm the recontract T&C via recorded phone conversation...no signing required.

No need la, mine under different names, just dat location must be same address. BB mine, tel line my brother's, they just ask me to quote his name n ic number to confirm.

Yup got the $10 rebate, expiring in April. Recontract dono can still get not. See luck la.

may i know what is current your internet plan? speed and price? im charged like 40 plus for my 10mbps plan, last time was $23 sth, on top of that i still have to pay $27.50 for my landline which i hardly use.. cos nowadays only use handphone. total i have to pay like $80 every month for my singnet/singtel bills..

my plan expired about 2 months ago, called to renew, CSO said no more promotion, refused to renew for me!!!

still can, but you are at the losing end of the bargaining chip, cos you'll be paying $46 until you recontract, or any other alternative plans (2 weeks for fiber). Stay steadfast when you ask for your phone rebates.
