My contract up...just saw this thread. So best deal is $23.45 one year + new modem + $10 phone line rebate? But must be thick-skinned to pester their retention cso?

What number do I call, Singtel hotline or the number given on their recontract website?

Did u get rebate for home phone line ($10/mth)?:D

No I didn't ask for the rebate for home phone line ($10/mth). By the way, I was originally on 10mbps plan. So my re-contract isn't an upgrade.

upgrade to 10mbps but do speed test only get 6mbps. think kanna con

I experienced the same.
On night of upgrading from 6mbps to 10 mbps, I checked and found it was still 6mbps.
Rang up 1688 and found that they have not done it!
Made plenty of noise and they did it immediately next day.

After a few days, checked and found that at night it was below 6mbps quite often.
Rang up, email, make plenty of noises; managed to get improvement to 10mbps most of the time at night.

You've got to make a lot of NOISE--which should not be the case, since we paid for it.
But if you don't. then it remains at 6mbps or even below, esp. at night when yr resources seems to be shared with other people.

Hi guys, I have a Singtel 10mbps plan finishing come 21-22 November. Wanted to ask you guys if they would be any termination charges if I switched to another internet subscriber before 21 November since it is only less than a month away.

As long as the account does not lapse before the contract terms.

Btw your actual 2yrs contract end when....if 21mths you terminate also need to incur charges if not wrong unless T&C already changed. Is best to check and do a double check hor. CS at times give incorrect info.

You have to check how long the activation starts. If you terminate M1 and sign-up ST, there might be a lapse in between when you cant access internet. Unless you sign-up ST with M1 contract less than 2 weeks to end.

Time fly... almost 1 year for S$23 plan, anyone re contract it as I was told for 12 month only. Can it be re contract and router free delivery ? Or any good plan from other service provider.

Same here. The Singnet online recontract offers:
No frill 15Mbps $38.95 per month. The rest need to sign up with mobile broadband or bundle.

The fiber installation takes so long in the Q!

Actually still can re-con at 10m for $23.45. Call them up. My FO just installed last month and check with ST, was informed that opennet still in progress in their test runout for nearby blocks. My 10m plan end feb so hopefully by then all tests are completed and ready to go if not no choice have to stick to existing plan for another 1yr.

My 6mpbs, $46.90 mio home contract ended in September 2011...

Saw this thread and called up 1688...

The CSO says no such $23++ recontract deal. Was quoted the price on the web with 1 month free for 24month contract.

Actually i signed up a 200mbps fibre last night which i dun need the speed.

If i am able to get to recontract 10mbps @ $23++ i will pay the penalty of $68 to cancel my fibre application.

How do i get to recontract @ $23++

please advice..

thanks.
