depends on how you talk/nego, ask for a local cso.
I called them, and got $5/month rebate for the phone line.
The difference, could it be how many times recontract or how long you with Singnet? For me, this is my first re-contract with them after 24 months.

Got my Singnet Bill and found the Monthly subscribtion fee has revert back to $49 from current $23.45.
Quickly call singtel and still can get $23.45 + $5 rebate for one year package.
This is my forth year for this promotion.
Checked my record and below are the summary for my Singnet Bill
( Since 2002, I have been with Singnet)

Y2002 $9.5 56K ( Promotion with buy 56K Modem )
Y2003 $19.76 56K ( Promotion with buy another 56K Modem )
Y2004 $20-$40 128K ADSL free 50M Pay per use.
Y2005 $68.25 256 ADSL
Y2006 $58 1M ADSL
Y2007 $43 3M ADSL
Y2008 -Y2009 $500 for 2 years 3M ADSL for buying Laptop promotion
Y2010 $23.45 10M ADSL with $10 bill rebate + Free New Modem.
Y2011 $23.45 10M ADSL with $10 bill discount, No Modem.
Y2012 $23.45 10M ADSL No bill discount, No Modem.
Y2013 $23.45 10M ADSL with $5 bill discount No Modem. ( tentatively, waiting for the confirmation call).

I also got my $23.45 10mbps renewed 4th time. I only got $5 rebate from phone line. I requested for a new modem since mine was given last 2 yrs ago. Just got the modem is an AZTECH DSL1015EW (S) and is not a N wireless router. Think my 2 yrs ago 2Wire 5012NV-002 is a N. Singtel technology really goes backward. Can really throw it away.

anybody facing frequent broadband disconnection on mio aDSL? i never got that, only kena that past 4 days. even after ytd singtel technician come alr, after he left, it happened again. is it a line issue? what can i do to trouble shoot further?

final resort is to switch to fibre alr.

although my connection don;t d/c, i always cannot connect to internet. the broadband and internet led always will not light up and need to keep reset till the connection is up. do you or anyone also encounter this kind of problem?

I give up recontracting my 10Mbps as I cannot get the landline costs waive.

Just went to sign up with M1 for the 150Mbps.

My advice is don't sub to stinktel, they are getting worse and their service are a bunch of crap. Always say they will call u but in the end did not even receive a single reply.

Singtel is really cocky nowadays. After I was being transferred to the customer retention department, know what they said, "Sir, so when do you want your line to be terminated ??" WTH, I said my BB is expiring, so want to recontract with the same 10Mbps price.

Same reason they gave, said the promotional price was already over... blah..blah... I said "sure you can help me as a loyal customer for 20 years with similar package". Then they checked and said "OK, we will provide the same price for another year, and the CSO will be calling you to confirm on the agreement over the phone in 3 days time."

Luckily I check on this site, and see that they still can provide this package. Optic fiber not for me this time, as not a heavy user and gamer. Think they are forcing people to use it.

Maybe they receiving too many threaten-to-terminate calls, so they play tough first?

On Tues I also managed to recontract my 10Mbps at $23.45 plus $10 rebate..... no need to bargain.... CSO at Retention Dept offered when I ask is there any rebate. Later even call me back to say they will backdate to 1st March because I didn't call before the previous contract ended......

(this will be my 3rd year, or 4th.... can't remember...)

Super service.. . thumbs up!

I have a 15Mbps contract plan to let go. Contract expires on Nov 2014.

Monthly payment: S$27.01 (before 7% GST)

Transfer fee: S$20

According to Singtel customer officer, the transfer can be done at any Singtel Hello Outlet.

Interested party, please PM me.
