1. may i know what brand and model of modem starhub provides for 25mbps
2. what wireless router i should buy, so that i can use my note2, desktop and samsung tablet can use.
3. can i use 2wire 2701hgv-2 or aztech dsl1015ew(s) as my wireless router

I can answer Q2.
I only sign up starhub 25mbps recently.
Just go to 2nd market and buy the Dlink 655 or TP link WR1043nd cheap cheap as everyone is going to fibre....
using with mic tablets & phones, note1,note2 , notebooks and etc

Called Singnet to discuss on renewal of 10Mbbs plan. Was offered 15Mbbs at $29.90 with 1Gb mobile BB. I told them I do not need the mobile BB and can waived my home line $10 monthly for 24 months. After hard bargaining. they offer 15Mbbs at $29.90 w/o mobile BB and waived $20 for 12 months for my land line. Need to sign for 2 years.
Asked whether can waived $10/month for 24 months instead of $20 for 12 months, they say no....
I am a lite user. Any suggestions?

I finally gave them the boot and sign up Starhub 25mbps with mobile 1G at $24.90. No regrets ....
After 2 months , someone from singtel called me up and ask why I terminated after so many years with them.... LOL

recently starhub got offer 100mbps cable @$31...

My 10Mbps contract ending Feb, called Singtel if what's the best they can offer me.

Refused to connect me to retention dept.
Besides the 15Mbps plan $29+ that bros here also reported,
Singtel only offer me the standard 200Mbps Fibre at $49.90 (3months wavier). M1 200Mbps only $39.
Singtel said there's not 100Mbps plan for me either.

Factoring fees and other waivers, jumping ship to M1 200Mbps
is a better option for me, save almost $100 for 24months.

After almost 10years with Singtel, they've not given me any reason to continue with them... bye bye....

I've had a bad experience with SH 10 years ago before using Singtel BB. I was on cable bb and at nights it slowed to a crawl, worse than my 56k dial-up modem at that time.

Dun dare risk SH even though they have fibre plans.
I wouldn't ever go back to SH unless all other options are totally useless.

Called last week, the deal is 15M @ $29. ST don seem keen in retaining ADSL customers. Their fiber plan also not compelling better than other offers. It shows may have something good. Time to jump ship.

Agree. But I need to keep the "non-contract" 10M BB until fiber kicks in. So any1 know what is the non-contract 10MB I need to pay?

According to the CSO I spoke to few weeks ago, it will stay the same at your previous price, so $24.xx for me.

If you contract ie 1 year is over, you will be charged at the normal rate (ie 39.90) not the promo rate they offered you.
