Re-contract Singnet 10 Mbps?

the deals at singnet IT fair vs the 100mbps singnet mailer, are they comparable? if it is about the same, i will just call retention dept to recontract, a bit troublesome to go down to expo..

I think calling retention dept to recontract has more value for money.
My wife got 6+2 months for 500M plan and still got a free home IP Camera service. Mobile BB she got the micro sim card. Wed installation and really can do installation within 7 days.

- free 3 mth
- wireless modem
- 10% of mobile subscription which I don't need.

registation fee and installation still need to pay

I think different officer give different offer. If lucky get more.

Just talked to retention dept again and here's the offer for 100Mbps:
All freebies the same only price plan, which is:
100Mbps $39.90(24mth contract)
Free 5mths(3+2) line subcription.
Thus, average mthly subscription is $31.59
Pls note tat $100 voucher and 10% NOT applicable to those on CIS(Corporate) plan.

Looking hard at this 100Mbps offer as the speed is more than sufficient to meet my needs and at the same time, cost is lower as analogue home line no need to pay subscription .

Bro i also recontract on these terms, but they told me the modem is the aztech 7001...were u given tis model also? or anyone heard of tis model?i tot e default given is the 7002 worth 249 n for higher plans is the ac 7003 worth 299???? Dunno izzit becos they try to compete wif m1 on price, but behind give cheaper modem...

ASUS router recently has a lot of technical issue with their firmware. No 7001. Aztech is much better than ASUS. Aztech is no cheap one and it even have building in sg. It is specialised in networking product. It is FG7000, FG7002 and FG7003.

ASUS produce notebook and many things so not specialise in networking product alone. Aztech is specialised in networking product.

Tats e ting....i repeated many times are u sure there is a model call 7001,cause i sure nv heard of....they even dare say tis model is worth 170+, i more confused,cause singtel advertise all their modems r worth fr at least 200+.....Streetwise may i confirm if the modem u getting?

I think CSO blur or temp staff at the fair so give him the wrong one. Must be FG7000 which is single band.

the modem I'm given is model 7002. Fyi, I made sure that they state all the conditons during the recontract. Wanna make sure they don't leave out any details.

U are right in a sense . whichever retention personnel I speak to, I will ask them to repeat the previous offer and ask whether anything was left out...and one will mention....oh....there is registration fees tat was not mention but I would tell them...every retention personnel, all fees waive and they say yes....thus, though I not specific....they say yes to all....thus, whichever retention personnel i speak to cannot say there is no waiver .

I choose the 100Mbps plan as it's more than enough for me. For someone else, the 200Mbps may be a better deal.......it's true from a technical standpoint but my needs are such that mthly pricing is more important, thus, 100Mbps was the choice

From my experience, retention dept will try to `save' on all the freebies if possible....if not,they will give u all they can within their authority. Thus, IT/PC fairs are are good time to recontract as u can quote them which ISP is offering value for money sign ups . I normally call when my contract has less then one mth left.....tat means if they do not offer a competitive rate...I will jump ship. If u notice, my contract is ending with PC show....thus, got higher bargaining power as I can quote othe ISP offers.....and at the same time the retention dept has more leway since there is a fair going on.

Anyway, squeeze wat u can.....consider, then decide the ISP u want to to with. I never commit to ISP on 1 or 2nd talk......until I'm fully satisfied that package I'm getting is competitive to rival ISPs.

1. $39.90/mth with 5 mths (3+2) waiver.
2. Dual band router Aztech 7002.
3. Waiver of Installation and Registration fees. Registration fee will still be charged in first bill but need to call them subsequently to get it waived.
4. Analog DEL phone subscription waiver.

I did not ask about $100 handset voucher & 10% off mobile subscription as I don't need them.

Retention Dept not working on Sun. Just call 1688 , select Fibre via the voice response system and speak to General Enquiry team. Just tell them what is being offered to other via subscribers as listed in Internet forums. They can match up. You need to be patient. Concluded the re-contract after 40mins with them.

Note: According to 1688, 100M Fibre plan only came out on Fri, for PC Show. Therefore, if you called earlier, Retention Dept will only offer 200M as the entry Fibre plan.

Ya. any hello shop will do. the guy ask his manager, say same family, retention d gimme what, he also can give. print paper contract out see 5 mths, but he use pen +2 mths and write his name plus Singtel stamp chop. I presumed shop system only have 5 mths on their dropdown list bah.

juz recontract, but the most they give me is 3 mths free. 5 mths is for 200 Mbps. I argued but in the end still 3 mths, maybe nid to talk to retention dept then gt chance.. but closed on sun.
