Look nice look yummy.........20yrs never beed to Penang. May Plan one trip there. One week Enough ? Play Slowly............

Agreed it's subjective. I find Penang food nothing special. You can find them here in Sg food courts as well.

The Malaysia Street ah ? Can not make la....Price lagi jiaklat.

If I were to visit Penang for a getaway, I'd probably add Langkawi to my itinerary of maybe 5-6days in total since both are quite far north.

island is like cbd everyone go there to work only
the comfy place is mainland

Not necessarily, although the old FTZ industrial park is at island, the mainland Batu Kawan industrial park is slowly catching up now. I have employed quite a few staff that commute daily from island to my office there.

I like old places like those you find in Japan, maybe Taiwan. which are old but well maintained or conserved. Penang is old and plain stagnant, hard to move around, proper pavements lacking and public transport poor. I like Penang Hill but going there is not easy too. Even Melaka has move forward and look fresher with new developments.

Ipoh got nicer scenery. Got caves and limestone cliffs. Got castle. Less touristy

Bt one thing if I must hiam is Penang food all very carbo heavy,you finish 1 meal, normally need wait long before you feel hungry......so choose to eat small portion

wow thats good, actually penang should dedicate island to more tourism and chill, the weekday crowds at island really shag.
