Recommend CPU Cooler for 5600X

Hi Guys, just bought a AMD 5600X on Amazon.
Now wanna find a CPU cooler.

Can recommend a CPU fan cooler under SGD50?

I using a Tecware Forge M with Steel Legend B450M.

Edit: Probably should increase budget by abit and consider AIO CPU Coolers as well.

If you want cheap CPU cooler with RGB than AMD prism cooler.
Yes that cooler for higher end AMD cpu can be used with 5600X as well as
easier to install since it uses latch.

You can get from Bizgram they have AMD prism cooler for sale.

It's a 100% no-brainer as nothing in the price range comes close to beating it.


The next step up is Fuma 2, which is around $75 and is also a no-brainer for its price segment.

These two options r unbeatable for the price you are paying. The rest are quite meh.. probably need to pay at least 2x to find something on par with this two.

the forge m got 160mm height and I think all the coolers mentioned so far have full ram clearance too

Not worth buying the AMD heatsink. Get the ID cooling HS better.

hyper 212 is a nightmare. u will probably cut ur hands.
dont know about the id cooler except that u need to have a long screwdriver

I have both. id cooling 226 xt can cool slightly better and mounting more accurate plus less ma fan

You are choosing between 4 heat pipe or 6 heat pipe cooler, whichever your choice just go ID cooling because Cooler master is overpriced and ID cooling mounting is very easy.

Personally i rcmd noctua.
They send me am4 socket for the heatsink i bought back in 2017.
Great support.

PS I am not going by popularity or favorite choices.
Why I recommend the stock AMD cooler and is not the stealth cooler.
Is because the stock AMD prism cooler you can just latch on.
While for tower heatsink you have to assemble the mounting plate onto the motherboard than
the heatsink.

The choice is up to TS so not in my hands.
The ID cooling heatsink will be easier to install than Cooler master Hyper 212.
There is a newer Cooler master AMD Ryzen cooler which is new the A71C.

I don't know about the performance of this new cooler as I have not seen or used one before.
For tower I would recommend the Cooler Master Hyper 212X Black edition but it will cost more
than the Hyper 212 LED.

FYI TS other than cooler do take note Tecware fans are not very good especially airflow and reliability.
If you have budget suggest first change the rear exhaust to a strong casing fan
like Cooler Master Sickleflow 120mm.

So hot air inside the chassis can be exhausted effectively than Tecware stock fans that come with
the case.

The SE 226 XT has much better performance. H212 was okay 10 years ago but for today's standard it is quite lackluster I feel.

All are easy to mount

Honestly, it's a no-brainer. Watch youtube if you don't know

i agree with techidiot actually, thats why even for my personal rig i went with a prism instead of a 3rd party tower cooler cos i was too lazy if u know where to look on carousell, u can easily get prisms for under $20, got one bugger selling at 10. but honestly for 5600x, the included wraith stealth should do the job just fine.

Yea i saw quite a few recommended this but it's above what I budgeted for a CPU fan.

Yeah.. the reliability not good at all, all tecware cases I used fans got problem. Some USB ports also stop working.
