hello Sifu..check with yours this IKBC keyboard saw it from SG seller PCbyte.. got anyone tried before?

https://shopee.sg/iKBC-Typeman-W200...X-Switches)-i.323371299.4967611722?position=1

** they do have other brand like Leopold and GMMK in stock too....
I'm using the exact same keyboard for about a month with my work laptop (bluetooth disabled so need wireless dongle). Been ok so far. I'm not very picky, coming from an old steelseries mech keyboard.

The weight is quite similar (hefty) and i went for linear switches. keypress response has been ok, with no lag on the wireless dongle, did not try on bluetooth.

Just hoot Anne Pro 2 with Gateron CAP yellow switches. Going to replace my Filco minila with this.

From Lazada. Was looking at RK61 and RK68. Also considering Ducky Miya Pro and the newer Filco minila. End up went for the Anne pro 2.

Quite interested in the new minila too but really cant imagine how "patch" keys are compared to the old one. If its like those chiclet keys with less travel, perhaps typing experience not so comfy.

The newer Minila is so nice but i'm sort of tired of the shorter space bar... even thought u can convert the FN key into space. Plus i think they only have white backlight. I should give up on my filco and try cheaper option.

Have been eyeing Anne Pro 2 for some time but not sure if I will miss the cursor keys.

I never use them so i can do away with it. Anyway if you go for the newer minila, they also don't have the cursor keys.

hi kb experts~ i have a razer blackwidow chroma v2 that is using razer yellow switches, and was wondering if aftermarket tb pbt keycaps are able to fit on them? tried googling but all the answers mainly led me to razer's own upgradable pbt keycaps..

Most custom keycaps out there should fit your razer keyboard but the main issue is the spacebar. Razer Blackwidow chrome v2 is using unconventional 6U spacebar which is hard to find. Most custom keycaps set only comes with either the standard 6.25U or/and 7U spacebar.

So your options is to find a set that comes with 6U spacebar or changed all the keycaps except the razer spacebar.

Hi! Completely new to the world of mechanical keyboard. I am using a MacBook Air so prefer one that comes with Mac keys out of the box.

I’ve seen a few names being mentioned here repeatedly - Keychron, Royal Kludge, and Anne Pro 2. For use with a Mac, what’s your recommendation? Used mainly for typing; not gaming.

Where are the best places to get them, in terms of pricing and reliability? The popular local shopping sites (Shopee, Lazada) or Aliexpress/Taobao? Or are there any local retailers?

Thanks!

Oldbird coming from the classic Filco/Ducky TKL (still using good old DK 9087S, Chery Reds), am considering wireless options and/or highends end-game.

Where can I go from there? For wireless I saw Keychron being popular (mostlikely the price)? But not sure about the mounting and build, wouldn't want to risk going a step down on typing feel + gaming feel.

Maybe check out kbdfans for the layout/style you're looking at. Coming from a Filco, you're kinda stuck in that zone where the usual off-the-shelf brands aren't really any better.

Customs would be the way to go, the sky's the limit. If you want a keyboard with a different mounting (e.g. gasket mounting), and build quality really depends on the kit you use, the switches (not even counting franken switches, there are many linear switches out there now that's much much better than the old Cherry Reds), and how much work you're willing to put in (lubing switches with krytox/tribosys is pretty much basic nowadays). If you don't DIY, then expect to pay quite a bit for someone to build it for you.

I think the current interesting one that doesn't break the bank is the Keychron Q1, any pros have any hindsight if this is a good starting point?

Ducky is a very good keyboard brand because their keyboards are sturdy and i have been using the same keyboard for 1 and a half year already.
