[Recommend] Good Mechanical Keyboard

I just bought a 2nd hand Tecware RGB 104 keys mechanical red keyboard.. For $15.

My first mechanical keyboard! Not sure if good and value for money.

Anyone use this keyboard before???

am using cheap china 87 key blue switch. bought it cos my wife last time ordered tao bao then she bought 1 for me.

i kept my tecware phantom cos i got some keycap broken thus everytime i hit some of those keys key cap will fell off.

speaking of this. i think i should go get some keycap to put the teecware back to good use again

My previous keyboard now as back up keyboard was the ASUS Tuf gaming K1 keyboard. RGB membrane keyboard.

Oh I see. No wonder it's cheap. So it has slow rebound compared to cherry MX switches

more than 10 years ago, someone recomended i get the razer blackwidow blue switch kb saying that its very durable compared to their mice

just now my spacebar felt weird, i pulled it out and a piece of plastic also flew out

i was actually half happy that oh at last i can justify a new keybaord for myself

knn, i put back the plastic and its working perfectly again

After a while of using this akko keyboard given by my brother, somehow I love this akko keyboard, which already comes with Akko V3 pro Creamy Yellow switches that was already lubed--- (the lube thing is new to me)
I had no idea mechanical keyboard switches sounded this good, or that such a keyboard existed at all. LOL

asked where he bought it, and he said he bought it on Aliexpress.He had me take few picture of the keyboard so he could give some feedback on it.
now the keyboard on sale with Akko V3 Pro Yellow Creamy switches for $130 that is quite a catch

The keyboards in AliExpress is a little more pricey.

but i check online stated

Agree. Budget boards like monsgeek tends to be more thocky due to default PC plate used.
Unless you do a plate change to metallic plates such as aluminium, carbon fibre etc to achieve a clacky sound.

i dont read too much review, i owned one and giveit away also. i compared to the 6 keyboards i have. all are more thockier compare to mongeek w same/similar profile switches. i do slight modding to most of them. ie. tape mod, lubing stab etc. but mongeek doesnt really project well in term of "thocky". Furthermore, now most the 2024 kb sound nice/thocky out of the box compared to mongeek, hardly require to mod.

beside mongeek, owned 2 x monka 6102, rainy75, AL75, OMO100, LEO87 (recently gave a few out to close friends, cause really dont need so many kb)

there is a lot of akko switches that i saw they sell.......cannot be all of them produce the same "thocky" sound or is it all the switches have the same "thocky" sound?

I'm making my first attempt to purchase a mechanical keyboard on Taobao. Very simple thus far, and the pricing is reasonable. paid $63 for the Aula S87 Pro Wolfspider Keyboard. Although the keyboard is made of plastic, it is still reasonable given its cost.

does the led screen stay up when you wake the keyboard up from sleep?

Yes it immediately stays up when i type and actually you can set it up.

This setting can be done on other keyboards as well. I did it on my monsgeek, and when I type on the keyboard
it immediately wakes up with the led stays up too

However I think I will continue with the monsgeek keyboard because it is much more nicer to type on and very solid keyboard.i love the thocky sound of monsgeek keyboard instead

The one you're talking about is a different model that they are selling for $40-Ajazz AK820max

This is the 87-key TKL keyboard with led screen/knob model which Ajazz had the same model type called Ajazz AK870.........
I intended to buy that Ajazz AK870 with a yellow,grey,white keycap, but they never ship overseas. Aliexpress got sell but they came with aluminium plating that is a bit expensive for $120

Taobao selling the black and white keycaps, but it was much more expensive than Aula, which sells for about $72 and the keycaps dont look nice as the Aula
