[Recommend] Good Mechanical Keyboard

My laptop needed the damn fn key to register as f5. If not it's increase screen brightness.

Renaming is damn annoying especially when I'm just used to pressing f2.

Which laptop is that ? Some laptop models has setting in the bios that can flip the layout i.e. default is FN 1 to 12 instead of special functions

If you need to use the Fn key to access the F1 to F12 function keys, that is more applicable for keyboards size 65% and below.
However, to hear your laptop needs the Fn key to trigger function keys is also odd.
Your requirements for your potential mechanical keyboard are clear, and it is easy to find what you need.

But it doesn't change the fact that I am still looking for a keyboard

All laptop have it, just press FN + ESC to toggle between the two.

yup and i use quite a bit of numpad in my normal use too. I am hoping some brands will release 1800 HE budget model.

Anyone knows any shops which sell individual keycaps which are XDA profile? I am missing keycaps for volume and calculator. The keycaps set I bought did not come with these keycaps

Well forgot to update. In the end got the Cidoo ABM098 and swapped the switches to Kailh Box Summer switches. All in all, quite happy with the purchase and it supports VIA too.

Anyone using Monsgeek Fun60 Ultra with TMR? From online research seems like pretty good for value. On par or slightly better than HE keyboards. I intend to use it to play FPS games.
