[Recommend] Good Mechanical Keyboard

From the sheer variety of keyboards on Taobao, I wouldn't recommend HP.

Ranking of budget brands seems to be something like Ajazz/Dareu/Rapoo<Hyeku<Gans/IKBC/Akko<Durgod (Durgod is already a mid-range brand IMO)

Akko will be somewhere lower than Gans/IKBC in terms of price performance but excel in licensed goods. The saying is that you buy Akko keycaps and they give you a keyboard for free.

Hyeku is worth mentioning because it is a Kailh home brand. Problem being that most of their boards are 108 key and with mono LED. But at a super good price. I actually bought of their boards from Cash Converters for $39 brand new. Longhua (Kailh) red switch with metal plate. Hard to find at this price point.

Still unsure whether to go for Ducky Mecha, Anne Pro 2 or Iqunix F96. Their Ducky SG pricing is competitive?

I am not too sure but they are the sole distributor in SG. Lazada do have some Ducky keyboards but they are all shipped from China. Seems dubious....

I just bought a NiZ Plum from Taobao which arrived on Friday. Love the typing experience, and 35g actuation force is really easy on the fingers

It's a Topre "clone" with electrocapacitive switch. Can add on springs for additional 10g weight.

Some of the keys on my Cherry ML keyboard are starting to squeak. May I know is there a special type of lubricant needed ? Or is normal lubricant oil student ?

Use those high quality silicon grease. White color type.

personally bought it last year from taobao for about $30, quality is meh. nothing spectacular about the typing experience, but the keys are quite loud. also the a and s keys are starting to die after a year of use, sometimes they don't register a press, other times come out multi press. switches are not hot swappable either.

Numpad is a must for me.
Now looking at Hyeku GK715 keyboard, brown switch from JD. RMB239 or roughly $50SGD. Seems ok. But my main concern is whether the keyboard would be loud. I need to find a quiet mechanical keyboard to use. Currently using Logitech K840, quite quiet, but no backlight :\

I am using logitech G910. I was thinking of gettting a nnew keyboard as well.
Currennt onne seems to be ffaullty as some keys will double register themselves as you can see..
This disrupt my gaminngg sessionn as doublepress keys will lead to unwanted actions.
Lasted me only about 3 years. Out of warrannty means gameover for the product.

Anny recommendations for me? I prefer to have tthe ffolllowing :
- RGB lightings
- Fancy keyboardd with extra buttonns
- Don't mind it beinng lonng/big
- Long warrannty if possible
- With wrist rest if possible or anny recommenndations for that
- Basic/Simple keyboard is no-ggo
- Cherry MX Red or similar types

So far would still recommend Ducky or Varmilo for cherry boards, those are damn solid.

I swear by happy hacking keyboard and topre switch. Have a type-s but left in office and can’t collect as office was closed from covid. So ordered another one recently. There’s a new version hhkb professional classic now. Build is even more solid than hhkb pro 2.

I think you answered your own question lol. If you are looking for cheap keyboard go for MSI GK50. But no wrist rest.

Otherwise I think you need to buy a Razer, Cooler Master or Corsair.
