[Recommend] Good Mechanical Keyboard

Any wireless mech keyboard to recommend?

Previously using teroso excalibur red switch and now using razer ornata..dont quite like both..

What swtich should i go for if either of the above dosent suits me.

Hmm on a separate note, is the colour scheme for Bon Voyage weird?

For the toroso dosent have the spring feel while the oranta is too noisy lol

Same sentiments! But the colour scheme is kinda bright. Find it too light-hearted to do work with it. What keyboard are u using?

Hi,

First time looking at such mechanical keyboard (not for me) for my child.

- compact (no need num pad)

- best got colour lighting that looks like gaming keyboard

- noise: as much as possible. Somehow my child find the noise of keyboard very shiok.

- connectivity: best wireless (bluetooth or dedicated 2.4Ghz dongle is fine)

I saw Logitech got one but it's very expensive at S$300+. Wow! Just a keyboard only.

Logitech G Hub software sucks. Using a G910 keyboard. Fixed it's key chattering issue, thanks to a forum member. But gonna swap it out. New corsair incoming.

Logitech G Hub software sucks. Using a G910 keyboard. Fixed it's key chattering issue, thanks to a forum member. But gonna swap it out. New corsair incoming.

G910 is huge and bulky. Plus I am not used to the first column of the keycaps not being the column with tab, capslock, shift etc.

Hi,
Spent the last week researching on a 65% keyboard and have narrowed it down to a Ducky one 2 SF vs Vortex Cypher 65.

Any recommendations on which is better? Planning to get from Lazada (Xtreme Solutions).

Vortex: End Key, 4 keys on top of arrows, normal right shift key for easy change of keycaps in the future, steel plate backed?

Ducky: keycaps seems to be better quality, more common = more parts?, like this thinner bezel design, multiple angle adjustments


One additional question is i see on Vortex's website their Cypher comes with black keys while the one on Lazada has coloured? are they 2 different keyboards or am i missing something here?

Wish i can go down SLS to check the boards out physically but alas Xtreme is not open yet...

Currently using logitech G413, waste of money with persistence double typing issue.

I’ll recommend Leopold fc660m or vortex instead, the quality is higher

leopold fc660 and kbd67v1 for work and play.

looking into upgrade to something more premium but paying >500 and waiting 1 year doesn't sound like an attractive thing to me lol

if that is the case you should look to get like a keychron (because wireless), then swap out the switches for something with a heavier spring (more than 70g) or tactile switches if you want tactility.

2U right shift, 1U win key. the rest is standard.

you may have to buy an add-on set for the 2U right shift, but it depends on the support for your set.

Also the leopold keycaps are high quality so there is little reason to switch them out. Much better than Ducky, Varmilo and Durgod etc of a similar pricing.
