oh ok. sometimes, its good to get a few more quotes before deciding. some one told some of these shops sell them cheaper due to the expiration date. not sure how true. so, it may be good practice to check the date of manufacture first before committing.

Anyone one got their go to tyre shop to recommend? Hawktyre quote me the price i might as well change in SG. Only $40 savings but still need drive in and spend time at customs.

Is always a debating point dude... Everyone is different. In my case, i will change, cos i have the time and is a weekly trip for me.
Add up the cheap petrol over there might change your thinking slightly? lolx

Did shared earlier, RM120 all in, rotation/balancing and 4point electronic alignment, did this last month. Done once last Oct, was RM80.
If rem correctly, rotation is RM 20.
Tire patching from RM8-RM10

Indeed... I was quoted SGD$100 for the same jobs in SG. Can do twice in JB and still have balance.

my bil did his cars and ours in johor. i think it was about 200 or 300$+ for the front, rear and trunk. this was like precovid. the quality is good cos im still using it after > 5 years. it doesnt slip, it covers all whole footing area (front and rear) and trunk, and it hasnt torn apart after so many years.
if u need the info, i will ask him for the name of the shop.

I'm also looking for engine oil change. Last I did was at hawk tyre. Rm298 for mobil1. Almost same price as some shops in spore. Wondering if can get cheaper at jb.

General Oil replacement servicing, saving very thin. Some would consider after minus off the time to beat the jam, not worth it.
Unless, can pump more cheap petrol. lolx
