You go google bah, its common in Japan, but just that its not cheap and very time consuming thus not easy for tourists like us to do it there. I heard even with booking it takes more than 2 weeks to do.

U need a resole. Ed Et Al (mellinium walk) will be able to do that, but it will cost around $180.

Instead of a protector, I would have tried a cleanser/conditioner and finish off with neutral cream.

i guess the cleanser is to clean off the dirt, right? but what about the neutral cream? is it some kind of moisturiser for the leather? hehe

will probably get a cleanser next time.

Unless you have heavy duty stains such as oil or blood there really isn't a need for the cleanser if you use your boots as regular walking shoes.

Too much cleanser and you risk drying out your boots.

Use a horsehair brush for daily cleaning instead and neutral cream to moisturise every week!

For me usually after 3 rotations, I would apply Saphir Renovateur to both clean and condition my boots. Cream afterwards. And additional wax polishing for calf leather uppers, none for tanned and pull-up uppers.

In between rotations, just normal dry brushing.

The website says Taiwan. Such resoling work probably is brought over from Japan to accommodate the Taiwan fans.

I asked to resole 1907 using nitrite cork sole and was quoted USD180 before shipping to and fro

Add those fees easily usd$230-250.
Get it done with redwing is usd$90 b4 shipping. Their job cost 2x of redwing... Quality 2x better? White or nick resole just usd$100

I bought my red wings about $220 USD with shipping...I think that's abit too expensive considering I can get a brand new pair.

But if an user wants to get their custom design sole (saw on their instagram, very interesting designed soles), well that's a different story.
