Any one has experience with RW boot cream?
Intend to condition my 7 months old IR 8111. Prefer not to darken the boots with oil.![]()
Is it true that the cream would discolour the stitch?
I just bought a 3140 about 2 months ago and worn it less than 10 times. I noticed the midsole separating from the shoe. Is this normal? see photos below. Thanks!

1907 only come in D width
my feet width size are 2E on brannock device, i got no problem wearing Moc Toe in D width. red wing round toe will be smaller in width comparing to their Moc but i also able to fit it, the leather will softer over the time.
red wing size run big, i need to down 1 full size from my brannock device size.
locally the prices really too high, with the money i rather go spend on brand like Hathorn. the red wing white sole also wear out quite fast if wearing regularly.
SAF boots?I tried before and frankly i find SAF boots more comfortable. I've got wide feet and it's hell for me buying shoes.

SAF boots?
you mean the frontier? the saf frontier are more like lightweight tactical boots.
for those full leather boots they are quite stiff and heavy. if you have really wide feet can try those footwears come with 4E on amazon.
I have to agree with u. I did my BMT back in 2002, so I suppose we are referring the same leather boots. That pair of boots are damn hardy. Until now my 2nd pair is still mint, because the first pair it's still ok though I wore it for chiong sua and parade. It has barely any discomfort, need minimal maintenance.I tried before and frankly i find SAF boots more comfortable. I've got wide feet and it's hell for me buying shoes.
