Other than the issues with the contrast stitching and tongue, sizing-wise, you're good to go?

Had sent them an MTO form, and there were a mix-up on the size in their invoice. No confidence, so didn't go through with the purchase. Ended up picking up a pair of RW Huntsman.

More or less. I feel for the quality and MTO is really good value.
BUT, they take ages to reply and don't give instill confidence, and 1st impression of sending wrong order is orz.

If you're lucky and get your order right without much trouble, the value is probably superb.

Just an update, they somehow found my boots and will be shipping to me. So I will be returning the boots to them.

Not sure how did that happen, just hope it isn't used or another wrong MTO...

That is good. They lose shipping fee. Actually gusseted tongue not much useful unless you wear your boots like SAF boots as its sole purpose is to keep out water. I also had gusseted tongue but I realize I would never wear that pair in wet conditions because it is in tan colour and water will immediately change the colour of the upper, maybe even permanently.

If you are wearing yours in snow, since you have Dainite soles, then by all means insist.

4-6 weeks. But do read about their response rate and customer service that I have wrote in the review. And see if you can live/deal with it.

Why go back see him??? I think there is no hard fuss rules to when to oil. When you see it's a little dry already, brush it clean then oil it. Don't forget they are workmen boots, so they are meant to trash.

That's what he said and that the boots don't need any oil or cleaner till then. I probably won't go back as there are cheaper options. Anyway, I am reading this thread up till page 120 and have gotten lots of tips. Cheers.
