Maybe its the lighing. And maybe its due to the leather. Awesome stuff. I use obenauf on it and it keeps my boot looking good

My chukka doesn't shine at all... Using obernauf ad well.

got mine from allen edmonds. great cedar smell and quality cedar wood

What is the purpose of shoe tree?

the common purpose is to maintain the shoe's shape, prevent the leather from wrinkling and keeping the shoe's inside smelling nice.

but personally i think keeping the shape is more meant for dress shoes.

for RW boots, i sometimes stick a shoe tree to suck up the moist inside it (you never underestimate the amount of moist inside after wearing it the whole day) and keep the shoe smelling fresh.

Try use amazon size chart. If i'm not wrong, M is for width D
