Guys, is the beckman series as comfortable as the classic range aft you break it in? Feel like hooting one.

Yes u should, they look awesome and something different from the usual common moc toe. They break in after 10 wears and my beckman feel as good as the classic moc toe. They do scratch easily though but nothing a polish can't help.

Imo they don't warrant the full retail price though. At 500+ u can have more choices. Get it through online, can save around 20% and then its worth getting.

been wearing my beckman for almost a year. comfy like no other... now my supposedly comfy Clarks DB is pale in comparison.

btw, does the 875 crepe sole becomes slippery on wet grounds?

Not really. Didn't have any problems with my 8138 crepe sole on wet grounds

Was hooting for rw chukka n backman, but sadly they don't carry half sizes here in our local store. I manage to get a friend frm states to hoot for me. She told me that there is a store that sell cheap rw shoe and having discount. Wow, cheap + discount???? Not sure if its a authorized dealer or even an authentic rw. I was thinkin since its super gd price, i try my luck. Shoes just arrived yesterday. Got my chukka at US$120 and backman at US$200... At that price??? WTF?? I guess must be factory reject, china made or hit the jackpot. Will upload pic today...

Nice pickup on the chukkas there with that price, around 100usd off retail price. Guess they are clearing stocks or having christmas sales. Personally not a fan of beckman moc toe series though, seemed like a clash of style. Beckman is dress style and moc toe is casual workwear style. Weird when they both come together. Just my 2c but really great to see the huge savings there!
