I feel so far army green sock is the best combi with redwing boots. Its really thick. And its below your jeans mah, no one will see what u wear also.
Even so, sometimes I wear berms and my 875 in green socks too. IMHO its ok also.

In our hot weather, army socks are really a disaster for those with some feet conditions. I strongly recommend you guys to get wool socks. In before someone ask, "wool socks not hot meh?"

Massdrop is having a group buy for this brand called Darn Tough. No doubt wool socks are more ex but they do treat your feet much better.

What size should I need to buy cos the shoes that I am buying are size D. If I based on the size infor extract from red wing Singapore, the length of size 6.5E is 24.5cm. The online size chart stated in amazon is US 7.5D, 9 3/4inch, 24.8cm. Need to seek advice whether to get US 7.5D is a same bet or should I get a US 8D 10inch, 25.4cm.

Normal recommendation when width comes down by 1, size goes up by 0.5.

So it will be 7D.

Haha. still prefer the model and looks.

Am really confuse about the size. I have tried US 8D and there is a finger gap balance. The size information stated for the shoes is US 8, 26cm which is so different from the amazon shoes chart. For amazon chart, US size 8 state 10 inch (if convert to cm, is 25.4).

My size is US 7.5 for track shoes and canves shoes. No allowance and is fitting.

Been following this thread for a week or so as thinking of getting a Red Wing. Was thinking since for a leather shoe fitting is important is to get from shop. Perhaps 2nd pair then get online and save the $100 or so. Sounds like the right thing to do eh?
