Too little differentiate between each xiaomi models now... :s22:
Change chipset 1 model, change screen size and you get 4 different combination of model. :vijayadmin:

One way to optimise costs, since the design has already been decided so just need to do some small changes and can then launch another different model. :s13:

Other brands are doing this too, not just Xiaomi. :o

Other brand are doing too, but xiaomi is definitely on the extreme side. Just look at the number of variation of the recent model, k30 series, note 9. :s22: At least 3 variation, and 5 different naming for different region.
I rather they have a little less model, but focus on providing update. Less model, less firmware to develop.

Eh the same also goes for Huawei and their Honor sub brand. It was said that Honor V30 and Huawei Nova 6 both shares the same internal design and you can easily switch the MB between both models.

Anyways, the likelihood for them to do this is probably to do differentiation to different markets. For ordinary consumers that don't really follow tech, they probably just stick to what the brand offers in their market.

Looks like Note9 with NFC. got UFS2.1? And Price? If lower than note9, would be a better choice. Reach Sg may need another 2 -3 mth. XM likes to play OOS.

Are they going to hint under display camera as well?
The TENAA photo of the Redmi 10X 5G shows a dot notch display, said to be the same display as the Mi 10 Youth but sans the TrueColor colour calibration.

Maybe Xiaomi photoshopped the notch away. :o

Redmi 10X 4G is the Note 9. 10X 5G and 10X Pro 5G will have different front design with water drop notch instead of punch hole cutout. 5G hardware means it will unlikely be lower than Note 9.

Oh my...the 10x pro seems like the new flagship killer at $460+

6.57 AMOLED screen, screen fingerprint, NFC, dual 5g, OIS

Any idea if the dual 5g backwards compatibility with local 4g network?

Redmi 10X Pro 5G does support all of Singapore's local 4G and 3G network bands.

Singapore telcos' network bands:
