I suspect Google playstore may have the same issue as K30 Racing Edition... probably device is not certified, therefore cannot use Google Pay. Dunno about receiving OTP or like one bro who bought earlier got whatsapp problem as well.

Maybe have to wait awhile until global rom is available and got more security certification.

I haven try google pay yet but config shld b same as mi 10 pro
Use hce wallet + google pay non sg version
I dun take public transport so no chance to use

Whatsapp have notification, just do the usual setting for cn set
So far no issue but sometimes google play service will prompt error but i still can use the app
Duno why appear error, the app no issue can use

Then is there a Redmi 9? I am super confused... cos I see only Redmi Note 8 & 9 or Mi 9 or 10 at the online Xiaomi shop on Lazada... but I don't see Redmi 9... not available in Singapore?

Redmi 9 is the basic entry-level phone, currently not yet available in Singapore officially yet.

Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 9 is the mid-range model series of Redmi.

Redmi 10X is considered a tier higher than the Redmi Note series.
