Snapdragon 632 is the successor to the mighty Snapdragon 625, and offers performance in between the 625 and 636. :s12:

Remembered previously at Redmi 6 event they said users feedback 2/16 version has too little RAM and ROM hence the model base started from 3/32. Now they brought back the 2/16 version. Very odd.

What ? Another Redmi 7 model ... are they trying to confuse us ? :s22:

There has always been a redmi and redmi note series...

Like now got redmi 6/a and redmi note 6/pro

The redmi (a) series is probably more important for Xiaomi as is the budget lineup.

I personally have a 2/16 Redmi 5 as my secondary phone with my TPG SIM card and it is very sluggish now even after multiple factory resets, not to mention the lack of memory for app installation. Unless you can get such config at sale prices (got my Redmi 5 @ $99 from Era), minimum have to get 3/32 version to get any decent usage IMO.
