At S$199 for 3GB/32GB, not really a very good buy. Probably can consider Realme 5i local set SD665 4GB/64GB at S$199 from the official Realme Lazada Flagship Store.

I was comparing the Redmi 9 versus Realme 5i.

And yes that can be an option.

I am using the official Xiaomi Shopee Store price here.

Redmi 8 4GB/64GB SD439 -- S$199
Redmi 9 3GB/32GB MTK G80-- S$199
Redmi Note 9 3GB/64GB MTK G85 -- S$229

Somehow I feel Realme 5i 4GB/64GB SD665 at S$199 is still a better buy than the above three.

Redmi Note 9 4GB/128GB MTK G85 -- S$269.

I have the Realme 5 3GB/64GB at S$199 bought last year and it is not bad. The boost to 4GB RAM will make it better so I think the Realme 5i is a good option.

In that case, spend a bit more for the proper memory configuration of Redmi Note 9 or even 9S.

I got mine from Shopee, Euro (EEA) Set has NFC @ $190.
Does your Jakarta set has nfc? I know local set doesn't.

Here NFC use is very Low so I bet they remove it, Low end Redmi produced locally.

Just noticed from the spec sheet that Redmi 9C and 9A reverted back to microUSB, considering the older Redmi 8A used USB-C, this is very disappointing.
