My Redmi Note 10 Pro arrived today.
I don't know why I can't set it up. I can link to my phone wifi network but it just keep saying : You don't have a network connection. But the wifi signal icon is on.
Sian. Don't tell me this is faulty set.
Anybody got similar experience or know what this problem is?

Someone did mention before that a SIM card was needed to setup your Google account

I inserted my SIM card, then it worked.

Previously, for other Xiaomi phones, I can setup the phone without inserting the SIM card. Don't know why now cannot.

Yah. After I inserted the SIM card, then can already. Is that a security feature?
Bro ur set is export set?
Does that mean can claim warranty in SG even though not EIN distro unit?

I check my old SG telco set xiaomi phone imei and yes it shows correct activation date like on my rcpt.
Wat does yours show?

I bought via Shopee at $366 for the Oynx Black 6/128 version.

Yah, I usually setup the phone and take some time to migrate over.

What is the best way to migrate all the pictures, screenshots, etc from old Redmi Note 8 Pro to my new Redmi Note 10 Pro? Manually copy over?

Mi mover will copy whole phone over
Manual also can
If u wan play safe, backup all the pics into ur pc first
After google restore everything to ur phone, if got missing pic at least u have backup

Rmb to update latest miui then do factory reset before using the phone

But I reailised that if I were to copy all the pictures out, the "Date stamp" will be screwed liao. Anyway to copy everything over and keep the original "Date stamp"?

Oh, need to reset after updating to latest MIUI then can use?

Reset is to prevent future issue
Sometimes brand new phone have minor error pop out de
Factory reset will solved it

Date stamp i think will keep when google move the pic over
U do manual sync on old phone first before move to new phone
If wont keep then u try mi mover
