Do u know that for xiaomi there's no way to use cable video out to monitor or screen? There's no HML support. Xiaomi using cheap USB 2.0 only. However u can use wireless display to cast your screen but got some lag.

there is HDMI cable cast for Android phone that doesn't support mhl.

got a update notification for miui 12.5.4.0. Anyone updated to it already yet?

on a separate issue; it seems like the rmn10pro cannot detect your sim card when the phone gets to hot. i thought it might just be me. tried restarting the phone, doesnt work. then took out the sim card tray and let the phone cool down with a fan. popped the simcard in and the phone detects it again.

Anyone encountered similar issue?

Try clean the sim card
I believed less than 1% of phone users will go clean it

Hi, my current phone is RN8T and have just bought a RN10P. My 8T is set up to my liking already. What is the seamless way to migrate everything to 10P? ie all the 8T apps get installed on the 10P, even the home screen layout also gets replicated on the 10P. Thanks all.

Can use mi mover to transfer all over to new phone but some apps may not work
So may need to reinstall some of them
Not sure abt layout tho

Yes. Mi Mover will move everything including the layout of all the app icons over to the new phone.

But like you said, some apps will not work. Especially those banking apps.

Does anybody know whether the back of the glacier blue RMN10P is glossy/shiny or matt/frosted?
RmN10pro back is shiny.
Fort the phone to monitor, think have to wait for USB3.1, to send video out direct with USB only. Can apple or Samsung top range phones do video usb out yet? Until they do, add another 18 mth for Redmi phone.

Apple, Samsung, Huawei or infact those phone with USB 3 all support HDMI video out. Only xiaomi still stays in USB 2.
Perhaps xiaomi strategy is using wireless display but the lag is pretty distinguish.

Msg the Nillkin seller for quite a while, told them the listing didn't have RMN10 variant for H+Pro TGSP. End up they relisted it & the pricing is the most ex among all the TGSP they are currently selling. Even the other reseller is alot cheaper than them.:s13::s39:
