Really need to wait a few seconds meh? My almost 5 year old Samsung Galaxy Note8 whose processor is probably weaker than the SD680 is still fast enough for me... Maybe I old man lar... Don't need so fast... Haha...

note 8 has a flagship chip from 2017.
sd 680 is a update of a low-mid range chip from 2017.
its way worse than what u have.

Based on the spec sheet, the Redmi Note 11 would be better than the Note8 by a fair margin... I don't play games at all so the much better GPU isn't really important at all... and being meant as gifts, the target recipients would definitely prefer larger screen, longer battery life, and higher screen refresh rate...

I charged both phones to 100% last night then I plugged out... that was about 10 pm... now about 12 hours later, the battery level is 97%... so lost 3% overnight on standby...

Battery degradation need to check with the EDMW sexpert @angtekkor....he used to study on his Samsung phone battery degradation issue..

Rumor is global launch of china dimensity 920 redmi note 11 pro. Leaked price is not cheap.
