seems that there is no much excitement over this redmi note 12 series, is it not worthwhile to get? I am considering to get a new phone (currently using Huawei mate 20), and a gd camera is a top priority requirement.

You can forget Redmi as Redmi phones always have the worst camera. And coming from Huawei phones, you would expect a big drop.

In edmw... u dun see much ppl talking abt or discussing abt affordable/ fairly affordable phone models... u only see ppl talking abt the high-end phone models haha... I dunno why but it's always been liddat in here... dunno whether is it that some ppl are scared that talking abt the lower-tier phones will lose face? I dunno...

The note 12 series for the global market has just been launched so it's still too early to tell how good or bad they are yet cos not much reviews have appeared yet... wait a while more then u will be able to find plenty of reviews for the phones...

A good camera system tends to be expensive.

Mate 20 costs around $1k during launch, so you can look for Xiaomi 13 Pro around $1k for a fair comparison and replacement.
