I've pulled the trigger and gotten Samsung A50 Malaysia export set (6gb ram, 128gb) from Lazada. $358 after discount.

Note 7 priced too close already. Pay less than $100 more for a better screen and processor

Nice. Real diff between RmN7 and A50 is not the camera or processor or the price, is the screen. The super amoled is a daily joy.
And A50 is real available while Rmn7 is still playing hide and seek. Given the unconfirmed issues with their local distributor, if end of this week (when mi9 goes on sale on by Mi on Lazada) Rmn7 still no official launched in Sin, it may very well signal no Rmn7 in distributor's Mi physical store.

saw there are some people selling RMN7Pro in Carousell, is it safe to get one? Are those China set? And how's it diff with local set in terms of warranty and network band? I assumed we can flash the ROM over with international ROM. Thank you.

Actually the A30 also has the amoled screen. Quite interesting. Only no 3 camera

But If note 7 pro sells for the same price as A50 then it's a no brainer not to get it.

If Malaysian warranty is recognized here, $11 for 1 year warranty is very worth it if you ask me (battery itself cost more than $11).

I'm camping for a good sales price for Note 7 but I'm seriously confused, so need experts' advice here.
1. Those Note 7 Pro as advertised, are they genuinely available, since Pro is just launched in India but not in our region?
2. Those Note 7 sets (non Pro), are they using 48M camera? Or is it Note 7 from India is 12M only but units from HK or China are 48M? If Note 7 got 48M camera version, are these the Sony IMX586 sensor or the Samsung GM1?
3. Is it all Note 7 sets are non global rom and need to get sellers to pre-install Play Store? Since there's no global rom available (from what I read), any problems if continue to use China Rom?

2. 48mp. China, MY and SG sets. All Samsung sensor
3. MY and SG sets using SG rom. China using China rom. A lot of limitations (read online)

Haha, was thinking to get Redmi Note7, but just nice Samsung launched A50. Similar size and specs. Samsung also priced it along with Xiaomi pricing. So now we have other option. Screen definitely Samsung wins due to Super Amoled. Bad thing about Xiaomi, heard it don't come with fast charging adapter out of the box

China set come with 2 pin plug 2A charger u need the traveler plug to use. nowsday think most xiaomi phone come in 2A . 1A normally very old spec of phone.
