just bought the phone and used it for less than 2hrs and paint coating at side of the phone peels off. any1 face the same problem? service centre refuse to fix as it was not a reported defect!

Saw Realme3 selling at Ah Beng shop in neighborhood town cntr. For 3/32, $199 w/ 2 yr warranty. Online is so much more ex.

The one that the Realme official store is selling on Shopee is the higher spec R3 with 4gb/64gb..

Ofc warranty does cover cosmetic defect. Out of the box, not dropped , 2 hrs; better go claim warranty quick before they accuse you drop/scratch the phone.

If you are still in the shop when the paint dropped off, then can say is poor workmanship. Once leave the shop, after 2 hours, who knows what happen in between the 2 hours.

This is the first time I heard paint drop off after 2 hours for new phone since xiaomi start selling phones here 4 or 5 years ago.

The plastic back has the protector sheet peeled off already as it’s looked yellowish and with use and expose to sun will be even more yellowish
