anyone else having poor battery life after updating to MIUI 11.0.5.0 ah?

Suddenly the SOT like sai. I used to be able to get 12 hours SOT. but after i update, drop to like 5-6 hours.

I'm on the latest and i can't really tell the screen on time anymore cos they seem to use a different way of calculation or it's bug. You can never get more than total 24hrs of total time. If lets say you use like 5hrs of SOT then after that you don't use your phone much for one day, your SOT will reduce and your standby time will increase. It's really weird way to display usage, makes no sense to me.

But what is important is do you still feel the battery last as long, like you go out and can still come back with maybe as much as before you update.

how do you enable macro mode?

The drop down from the top, you can find macro mode there. Their camera mode arrangement not very intuitive.

Do you get the issue like the after you load the camera app already the display doesn't come out and says error or something then have to reload it.

another way is to get to pro mode, select macro under lens.

like yesterday after I charge, then within 1 min, battery drop from 100 to 98%. I chua tio coz i thought only my samsung note 10 plus will be like this.

You need to "overcharge" it longer and not unplug it straight away then the 100% will stay longer but i think it's better not to since i've always read that keeping battery not less than 40% and charge until around 80% is the best but then that's insane cos no one would do that lolol

Yeah but i do get camera error sometimes, not often enough to be pissed off but enough times to feel that MIUI is still unrefined and not meticulous to details.

No leh. Maybe it's the theme you have or some battery saving mode? Mine in yellow if i have some mode set on.
