i still think amazing plan are better for those travelling to m'sia 1-2 x a month save hassle buying additional addon for roaming

Personally I am on Amazing Plan for data usage in SG/MY and uses OneXOX for local calls in MY. The combination works well.

Youu are correct about folks who travel to MY once in a blue moon then there is no point for them to go on Amazing Plans which is quite costly if compare $/GB data with other MVNO plans.

true there are also option to malaysia esim from wefly at $1.90 per day 500mb to unlimited which is much cheaper for "once a blue moon" travelers.

As usual, it depends on where you are.
But unlike unlimited plans, there's no hard cap on speed, so it's at full StarHub 4G speed.

01. Visit a challenger store listed in https://www.redone.com.sg/support/locate_an_agent
02. sign up (bring the NRIC)
03. Will received the SIM card on the same day (then wait for PORT IN)

Is that correct?

Oh anyway happen to know the WOAH plans only pay $10?

From 7 Sept 2021 onwards, upon registration of the mobile line, there will be a SIM Card fee of $10 and a 1st month payment of your subscription plan required. These fees are payable upfront and non-refundable. The 1st month payment of your subscription plan will cover for the 1st month bill. Any remaining will roll over to cover the fee for the following month.

The $10 sim card fee can't be waived.
Also, min 2 bill cycle for redONE.

So it's min $30 spending if you want to just try redONE WOAH.

TPG is cheap don't expect great speed and low latency.. It is good for senior plan $5 a month..

thanks, as i suspected. I do like redone amazing 8. the data and talktime usable in malaysia is a good plus pt for the price if 5gb per mth is sufficient.

Depends on personal usage 5 gb is abit low side for per month unless you seldom use data outside..

Free mins can only call to malaysia from sg.. In malaysia is consider roaming calls.. Not inclusive in your mins

YouTube 240p needs 384kbps min, let alone 360/480/720/1080p+.

For the 3rd Anniversary WOAH plans, are the upsized data allowance (30GB for the $10 plan) permanent as long as you maintain the contract?

I know it's sort of asking the obvious here, but I've gone through the rather skimpy T&Cs a couple of times & that seems to be the case, but just want to be sure I didn't miss something...

It has never been marketed for use for anything other than basic texting.

Plus, you're alr richliao, need the unlimited throttled data for what? Just sign the $25/mth MyRepublic Unlimited Plan la, 5GB/day uncapped leh hahaha, as long as you're ok the deprioritized network on M1.
