Refurbished iPhone from Apple

Hi guys anyone here worried or scared to send iPhone for replacement?

Mine does have some hardware issues but am put off by the quality of refurbished phones

One time I bought one refurbished phone the battery wear was already 900 cycles!

Does the apple set refurbished included any cycles or battery wear?

no scare no worry. i have replaced phones from apple before via express replacement service as i have applecare+

battery cycle has always been 0 for me. looks and feels brand new physically. no cause for concern, if there is any, can flag to apple and they will replace it for u again.

one thing to note though, the serial number will not be same as your retail box. (may affect trade in price).

You may get a tsmc chip or samsung chip after the replacement. lol

i got a tsmc chip after replacement , was a samsung chip previously.

I think I read some place that Refurbished 3 thing will be replace, external casing, battery, & the display irregardless any problem. Only the internal part will retain.

Apple never sell refurbished iPhone.
they only provide refurbished as warranty replacement.

my 2-times iPhone replacement(refurbished) from apple have zero charge cycle.

like some others said, Apple does not sell refurbished iphone. the one you bought may have been tempered with, it is not difficult to "seal" it.

By the way TS, you could be misled by the retail shop guy, many shops sell "refurbished" iphones, those are they themselves refurbished one, they still call it refurbished. Apple one is called Apple certifited refurbished iphone iirc.

my battery wear lvl is 27%.. if i go to those authorized repair center, will they be able to change the battery for me? my applecare+ is still valid.

how long will the process take? Need to pay $ boh? psps, first time apple user =p
